For all of your movie needs...streaming not included.

Because corportate America hasn’t confused itself enough, Netflix made quite the startling announcement that they will be spinning off their DVD/home movie division into a new company called, Qwikster. Not to be confused with twister, the rousing game that is eerily remiscent to the actions of those at the helm of Netflix, Qwikster a new division owned and operated by Netflix, that will solely focus on distributing DVD’s and Blurays to you by mail. Submitted by F. Rocky A.

I was born on a small island in the Caribbean, where I spent my first 10 years of life. Living in a tight knit community made up of close and distant relatives, I can remember being able to scurry in the streets well into the night without having to worry about sexual predators or stray gunfire. Life was good, serene and fruitful. Always the audacious type, I was running around with my cousins and friends playing war, building forts, shooting marbles. Which at no surprise to my parents, helped me choose my future occupation. Keep Reading

The video above shows a PlayStation controller being used to play Wii thanks to modder Bruno Freitas and his latest Wii RetroPad Adapter hack.

The adapter is apparently quite simple to construct yourself and Bruno has made everything necessary available here. No Game Cube extension cables here, the Wii RetroPad adapter allows your controller of choice to talk to the Wiimote, which in return talks to the Wii wirelessly. Freitas explains:

Which console will get it first

It took a group of 1337 gamers all of three weeks to solve something that scientists have been working on for a decade to understand — the result is one of the biggest breakthroughs in AIDS treatment of recent memory. Online gamers were able to determine the structure of a retrovirus protein called protease, which scientists have been trying to “de-activate” in order to reduce viruses like HIV from spreading throughout the body. Looking to upgrade to a new Android device on Sprint? Starting today Samsung’s Galaxy S II variant, the Epic 4G Touch is officially available via the Sprint website. It’s gonna set you back $200 on the usual two year commitment, but the good news is you’ll be getting one of the better Android-powered smartphones on the market for much less than possible before now.

If you couldn’t bring yourself to part with $600+ for the unlocked Galaxy S II, the subsidized price will definitely make it easier to make the switch. The 4G WiMax-capable device sports a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display and an impressive 7.7-thin design. Most of the other hardware specs mirror its Galaxy S II counterpart available on other carriers. Shophouse food

Many of us know Chipotle as the place where we eat every other meal…But how many of you knew they were rolling out a new asian counterpart called “Shophouse?”

It doesn’t quite ring delicious like Chipotle does, but Shophouse promises to offer great food in a colorless environment.

No they don’t mean artificial coloring…we think. Keep Reading

If Dakota Meyer had his way, he probably would prefer that we didn’t write this piece on him. He didn’t go into an ambush and save 36 lives because he wanted the attention of people writing about it, or a medal hanging from his neck. He did it because he was a soldier watching his brothers die, and today, even after receiving the highest Honor in the United States, he sees it no differently.

But seeing that Meyer is the first living Marine to receive the Medal of Honor from the President since the Vietnam War, we feel like he deserves his just due. Keep Reading
