By all accounts, it sure as hell looks like the Wolverine anime does a better job of honoring the character than the films. Say what you will about ‘ol Logan and how he looks as an anime character (still can’t get used to it, especially since something in his voice reminds me of Keanu Reeves in Point Break) – the classic “Logan and Yukio” saga is probably amongst the most beloved in the entire canon of Wolverine comics, and is now being adopted by Marvel Anime for their show TONIGHT, Friday, September 23 at 11:30 p.m. ET on G4.
In the exclusive trailer, Logan and his ninja buddy Yukio race through the dirty, slummy Madripoor streets, while lots of sharp pointy objects, uh, fly at them.
So yeah, they could have used more in this trailer, but it’s cool to see the producers have managed to make this work on the small screen and with a mere few cels. Meanwhile the newest Wolverine movie, which will follow the “Logan goes to Japan” storyline and supposedly feature Yukio, has already hit a bunch of bumps in the road (director Darren Arronofsky has left, multiple writers have been hired, etc.). So as poor Hugh Jackman continues to struggle with the Herculean task of keeping the live-action movie afloat, at least there’s something reliable here.

Logan Huffman wants to know who is posting comments about him online and asks Jace for help. Meanwhile Joe Flanigan is caught again flirting in the V costume. Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.
Jace has decided to take advantage of his co-hosting duties at the Sony Online Entertainment Fan Faire celebration, by showing his new music video to the thousands of EverQuest players in attendance, much to the dismay of the crowd. That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
