The video below shows Samsung’s flexible AMOLED display tech from CES, something that the International Business Times claims is coming to device’s in 2012, specifically the Samsung Galaxy Skin.
The Galaxy Skin (above) is, at this point, still a prototype and was most recently shown of at CES 2011 in Las Vegas. Rather than glass, the report claims the device uses a plastic polymide substrate, which would allow it to bend around a cylinder 1-inch in diameter. Imagine being able to bend it into a wrist watch, use the folded device to prop itself up, or shape it into a mouse-like form factor. The report explains:
The ground-breaking feature of the futuristic device is that it is flexible and can take various shapes. The displays are rollable, bendable and can even survive blows from a hammer. It is the first of its kind and is set to mold a new definition for smartphones. Samsung previously confirmed the production of flexible AMOLED displays that may debut in the second quarter of 2012.
Rumored specs for the device include an 8-megapixel rear camera, front-facing VGA camera, 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and of course the 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Flexible display.

Logan Huffman wants to know who is posting comments about him online and asks Jace for help. Meanwhile Joe Flanigan is caught again flirting in the V costume. Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.
Jace has decided to take advantage of his co-hosting duties at the Sony Online Entertainment Fan Faire celebration, by showing his new music video to the thousands of EverQuest players in attendance, much to the dismay of the crowd. That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
