While you might be sick of hearing about Michael Bay and all the TMNT sh*t as of late, we can’t get enough of it. At least as long as it’s stuff like Pac Man: The Movie (which is really just a fan film for the actual, as-of-now unrealized feature-length).
Though somebody came up with the Bay reference already, after watching it there’s really no better director it could be compared to. Or maybe Roland Emmerich, crossed with the media-conscious filmmaking of Paul Verhoeven?
Let’s see: Grandiose music? Check. Human characters less interesting than the special effects? Go. Still somehow kinda entertaining to watch, maybe in the same way a 10-car pileup at a NASCAR race would be? Like, a bit painful and yet incredibly entertaining? I guess so. In actuality, the graphics and CGI for this one, something like a cross between the Tron game grid and the very same labyrinth that made the Namco classic what it is — are ?
Made by Steelhouse Digital, the short comes courtesy of Machinima may be the perfect cure for your ADD — and watching it, I almost want to see a ‘movie’ of it. Maybe a crossover between this these guys’ work and a Bay film? Pac Man vs. the Texas-sized asteroid? Optimus Prime in a showdown? Namco pilots bombing the hell out of the game grid? 2 1/2 hours might be pushing it, but maybe like 20 minutes would work…

Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.
Jace has decided to take advantage of his co-hosting duties at the Sony Online Entertainment Fan Faire celebration, by showing his new music video to the thousands of EverQuest players in attendance, much to the dismay of the crowd. That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
