This morning the official UK Call of Duty: Black Ops II website confirmed the new title’s release date and laid out some further details on the highly anticipated shooter. The site described the new COD game as a shooter being set in a futuristic Cold War battle of sorts. COD Black Ops II will be released on November 13, 2012 and is now available to pre-order on the UK site with many more pre-order locations to be popping up over the next few days.
A new trailer is present but only teased, without allowing the user to actually view it just yet. The trailer link leads to a “dead” thumbnail which appears to be a placeholder for the upcoming trailer itself. One such thumbnail has the words “Los Angeles” written across an image of a helicopter racing above a freeway with high rise buildings burning in the distance.
The trailers description reads:
“Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare. Pre-order today.”
There are also two images acting as placeholders for soon to be released info. One called “quadrotor”, and the other labeled “claw”. Both images at this time are encrypted with white noise and the words “Coming Soon”. With help from The Verge, we can see that one image (“quadrotor”) was of this morning’s leaked image seen here and the “claw” image appears to be of some sort of heavy artillery vehicle.
Some believe the trailer will be made viewable after the game airs during the TNT broadcast of the NBA Playoffs tonight. See more images below and check back for more updates as they roll out.

Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.

That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
