Proverbial guest of The Jace Hall Show Cung Le showed he is still one of the best fighters in the world, defeating Canadian Patrick Cote in his return to the UFC on Saturday night.
It took the full three rounds for Le to win in an unanimous deicison, evening his record in the UFC to 1 and 1, and giving the 40 year old Cung Le one of the more memorable, recent wins in his career.
“One goal reached, and another goal to come,” Le said. “I’m going to go back to the drawing board — but I’m an adrenaline junkie and I’m not sure I can give it up yet. To all the 40-year-olds, I did it for you guys.”
Factoring into Le’s decision is his budding movie career. Cung stars alongside Russel Crowe in Quentin Tarantino’s “Man With The Iron Fists” slated to come out this fall.
Le’s fighting career might ultimately depend on how much his movie career is able to develop, and given the hype surrounding his latest film, we’ll probably know how that will shake out sooner rather than later.
Until then, congrats to one of the toughest guests The Jace Hall Show has ever had and here’s to continued success with (both) of his careers.

That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
