Following up their clip of the upcoming Season 5 premiere at Comic-Con, FX and Sons of Anarchy have decided to team and grace us with even more SOA mayhem, this time with a behind-the-scenes glimpse at what’s in store for us in the upcoming months. The even better news is that members of The Jace Hall Show team here at HDFILMS had a hand in producing it!
Plot details and potential spoilers follow…courtesy of Opie himself, Ryan Hurst, who knows that Opie may be looking to kick Jax out of the club in the hope of giving the latter a better life (as Jax is also Opie’s best shot at having one, this doesn’t come as a huge surprise).
Entertainment Weekly features an in-depth look at what’s headed our way — including tats, more cops than anyone would ever be comfortable around, and voluminous hails of gunfire.
If that doesn’t calm your fears, executive producer/director Paris Barclay insists that viewers can count on two things: “explosions and nudity!” and that “more than any other season, “we’re twisting the knife.”
Kurt Sutter elaborates:
“The results of the way of life (the gang is experiencing) start to chew away at all the main characters,” while Rockmund Dunbar, everyone’s favorite sheriff, adds: “people will die… because that’s what we do! We kill motherf*ckers dead.”
Good to know what we love the most will be heaped upon us in spades — and if that weren’t enough, expect numerous guest stars like Jimmy Smits, Ashley Tisdale, Chuck Zito, and Joel McHale. Watching this clip should get you good and amped — unfortunately there’s no nudity, but at least we only have about two months to go.
Until then, feast your eyes on the following.
Jeff Nau – who has written 1264 posts on The Jace Hall Show.
Jeff Nau is a main contributor to the Jace Hall Show covering pop culture and music trends in the nerd community. He has contributed to San Diego City Beat, 944, and Ill Literature, amongst others, and spends his spare time working as an artist and photographer.

Logan Huffman wants to know who is posting comments about him online and asks Jace for help. Meanwhile Joe Flanigan is caught again flirting in the V costume. Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.
Jace has decided to take advantage of his co-hosting duties at the Sony Online Entertainment Fan Faire celebration, by showing his new music video to the thousands of EverQuest players in attendance, much to the dismay of the crowd. That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
