Either this guy is the next Mozart, or he’s spent so much time learning how to play the Super Mario Bros. theme on the piano that playing it in the most unusual ways is second hand to him.
That’s Jason Lyle Black at the keys, or as he’s called here, The Backwards Piano Man. He plays the piano upside down from underneath the piano, and sitting down with his back to the piano and reaching both hands behind him to play it.
It helps that he’s been filmed from a bunch of different angles, especially helpful for viewers who might feel like they’ve heard this theme way too many times.
If you go to Black’s channel, he’s also insanely diverse and makes me wish I hadn’t quit after Hot Cross Buns at 8 years old. He’s got covers of The Killers (“Runaways”,) Mumford and Sons (“I Will Wait”), Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake” — even the theme to The Dark Knight Rises — and even some of his own compositions. Pretty much anything that comes out, this guy can do — check it out:

Logan Huffman wants to know who is posting comments about him online and asks Jace for help. Meanwhile Joe Flanigan is caught again flirting in the V costume. Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.
Jace has decided to take advantage of his co-hosting duties at the Sony Online Entertainment Fan Faire celebration, by showing his new music video to the thousands of EverQuest players in attendance, much to the dismay of the crowd. That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
