Remember when we told you that Diablo III was scheduled for an “early 2012″ release? And then just last month a rumored February-March launch date stemming from leaked BestBuy ads? Not only will Blizzard not confirm a console port in the works, but during an earnings call yesterday the company revealed Diablo III is now once again being delayed until later in the year.
GiantBomb quoted Blizzard co-founder and president Michael Morhaime saying that more details would be released “in the coming weeks” and that the company has “implemented changes to the game that we believe will greatly increase the game experience.”
In case you’re wondering, Blizzard’s second quarter ends Jun. 30th, so we’re at the very least a couple months out.
