The images below are courtesy of app developers CoPilot who snapped these shots outside Apple’s Fifith Avenue store earlier today at the launch of the iPhone 4S. These days no one is impressed with the huge lines (it’s expected), what is impressive is the incredible artistry of this Machead’s haircut.
The main portrait of Jobs on the back of the man’s head (below) is based on the 2006 image by Albert Watson, commissioned by Fortune. Right next to it is the image of Jobs’ profile as the cut out of the Apple logo, a design created by Jonathan Mak (disputable). Unfortunately we don’t know who the artist is, but he should really get some credit (you only get one shot.. and it looks flawless).

The second image (below) shows the other side with the “Think Different” tag line. I don’t know how quick I’d sign up to get this custom tribute haircut, but the dedication to Apple and artistry is impressive to say the least.
Some people’s Apple obsession manifests itself in other ways– like the guys over at iFixit who tore the new iPhone 4S to pieces, or using the voice of Portal’s GLaDOS as replacement for the iPhone’s new Siri assistant feature.
