Personally, why some people insist on seeing precious technology destroyed is beyond me, but that hasn’t stopped more companies hoping to go viral from coming up with new and creative ways to do it.
We already shared the iPhone 4S vs a Barrett M82 sniper rifle, watched it get strategically torn to pieces, and we’re all familiar with the Will It Blend guys, so the results of iPad vs Lava probably won’t surprise you…
It’s safe to assume this isn’t covered by AppleCare, and their motive is obvious– it’s an advertisement for iPhone accessory company ZooGue (they’re giving away free cases).

However, perhaps it would have been better to think of a viral video that shows of the strength of their cases?
Nonetheless, we’re more than happy to watch the power of the lava flow take its toll on this iPad and the shots of the lava itself are just as impressive.
As part of the promotion, ZooGue is giving away free iPhone 4S cases here while they last. Don’t expect them to withstand your local volcano’s lava flow, however.
