The question isn’t ‘who wants a Portal gun?’, but more ‘who the f*ck doesn’t want a Portal gun?’
Hand-crafted by sci-fi consumer products company NECA, these babies seem pretty close to the real thing. Of course, at a rather dicey $170, they also don’t come cheap. They’ll be available beginning in April, straight outta Japan via Hobby-Search. And while they look pretty badass, if you don’t have a lot of dough, you could go here, here, or here and be inspired to build your very own for as low as approximately $20 worth of random supplies (albeit to varying degrees of accuracy).
So I guess depending on respective creative spirit/patience, maybe you just want to give it a shot on your own. Then again, who the hell are we kidding. It’ll probably take us two months just to gather all the supplies –and possibly spend another sh*tload of money on gas driving around to home depots/garage sales/rifle through trash bins. Now, when do we get a release date for the Portal turret, dammit?
