If you’ve never played Skyrim or are not familiar with the game whatsoever (why did you click on this post) the above video will most likely make ZERO sense to you (unless if you’ve played other Bethesda titles). For those of you pushing 300 hours on Skyrim, or are kind-of-sort-of tired of the arrow in the knee meme, bask in the cleverness that is Skyrim: 2012.
Skyrim is still thriving in the year 2012 and Belethor’s distant cousin Gregethor is running the shop with Digurd, Sigurd’s distant relative. Buckets still get put on heads and coin purses still get thieved, and throwing fire and ice at each other is still the preferred way of settling a dispute.
Brothers John and Justin Grosjean and their relatively new YouTubers GroBroPro’s (they also run this channel as well) put together the video. They got their break when they passed a link to the video to the guys at Kotaku, who later helped the vid go viral.
There are no dragons, but there is everything else — except the Skyrim marriage, which could be coming in Part II.
Would you like to see the brothers turn this into a series? If you think you have the next online video that’s bound to go viral send it to us here and we’ll take a look!
