New Super Mario Bros. U sold 163,528 copies, coming in second place overall, while Monster Hunter 3 (106,300) and Nintendo Land (72,121) filled in the fourth and sixth places, respectively.
Yakuza 5, the open world adventure title from SEGA and PS3 exclusive, put on a media blitz over the past month led by its main producers Toshihiro Nagoshi and Masayoshi Yokoyama:
“I feel the entire game pace has gone up…Compared to other Yakuzagames, you get a more dense play experience in the same amount of time.” Nagoshi added, “Starting with load times, we paid the closest attention to the “courtesy” to the user in the game’s development.”

Currently there is no official word for the Worldwide release of Yakuza 5, but it is expected sometime in 2013.
