Still not super-familiar with what some are calling “one of the greatest sci-fi series of our time” (guess that includes Philip K. Dick, William Gibson and Heinlein)?
Maybe it’s a sign of the times when you can learn most of what you need to know about all things ME in a 3-minute nerdcore rap, succinctly entitled “Mass Effect Epic Rap.” It’s the work of one Dan Bull, a somewhat chemically imbalanced nerdcore artist (who isn’t) who has made a hobby out of covering the most epic of the gaming world, and all through a series of epic nerdcore rhymes.
His rhymes take on Mass Effect 1 & 2 gets straight to the point: ‘I don’t want to be nervously lunching with Cerebrus/I’d prefer to be punching a journalist/souping up all my guns for the skirmishes/In which I’ll puncture the firmament,’ From rhymed reviews of GTA V, to the impeccable Skyrim Epic Rap, and even rapped thoughts on the upcoming elections.
If it ever seems like it’s getting too cerebral, then there’s always “Thoughts on Porn.” Guy’s got a lot to say, and some of it might even be helpful, or at the very least, exciting. “You’ll disbelieve the manner in which I kick frees/bringing sci-fi to your hi-fi/is the highlight of a lifetime/with ease.” We get it dude, you’re awesome. Jeff Nau is a main contributor to the Jace Hall Show covering pop culture and music trends in the nerd community. He has contributed to San Diego City Beat, 944, and Ill Literature, amongst others, and spends his spare time working as an artist and photographer.

Logan Huffman wants to know who is posting comments about him online and asks Jace for help. Meanwhile Joe Flanigan is caught again flirting in the V costume. Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.
Jace has decided to take advantage of his co-hosting duties at the Sony Online Entertainment Fan Faire celebration, by showing his new music video to the thousands of EverQuest players in attendance, much to the dismay of the crowd. That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
