Given that he’s covered virtually every major manga under the sun — from Mobile Suit Gundam to Death Note — maybe it was only a matter of time before Richard Branson got tired of nerdcore, packed up hi sh*t, and headed out for greener pastures a.k.a.non-nerd hip-hop territory.
Despite the release of his latest single/album preview, “Wrath,” which Branson describes as ‘a preview of what to expect if he ever made it on a mainstream level,’ he also re-affirms that he’s dedicated to nerdcore — something his commercial for the PS3′s streaming anime channel, Neon Alley, proves. Apparently somebody challenged Branson to a non-nerdcore duel, suspect that the guy would never be able to prove himself outside the genre. If ‘Wrath’ is anything to go by, the anonymous aggressor doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about.
Dunno if nerdcore will end up being considered one of those genres rappers get ‘stuck in’ before they transfer to the mainstream — we still consider his new stuff awesome, but then again we don’t recall having any problem with anything Branson-related. While we’re already missing his nerdcore stuff, Branson has also been gracious enough to release the Alley commercial with his new piece.

Logan Huffman wants to know who is posting comments about him online and asks Jace for help. Meanwhile Joe Flanigan is caught again flirting in the V costume. Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.
Jace has decided to take advantage of his co-hosting duties at the Sony Online Entertainment Fan Faire celebration, by showing his new music video to the thousands of EverQuest players in attendance, much to the dismay of the crowd. That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
