KadeshFlow doesn’t miss a beat — it’s been maybe 8 or 9 days since Tomb Raider came out, and he’s already recorded a song for the latest in his #NerdCrunk series of raps.
The final product is titled “Not Going Anywhere,” and manages to also be — by far — the best thing Kadesh has put out yet.
In this one, Kadesh summons some truly evil lyrics, steppings into the shoes of the latest bad guy so he can tell the tale from his perspective. At first they almost sound like lyrics from a Cannibal Corpse album, but Kadesh’s confident rhythm and his voice overall make it all come together quite awesomely:
Nobody can really prepare you for the struggle/
the strain and the trouble/
that’ll hit you when you go and try to listen to your heart/
follow crazy dreams that you see/
when you sleep/
and that burn in you like eternal flames in the dark/
The only complaint is maybe that Kadesh should maybe show other stuff in the video — maybe some scenes in the game — but that’s a minor one (and seeing him perform in-studio is kinda cool). If you’re into nerd rap, this ranks with Richie Branson and MC Lars’ stuff as some of the best we’ve heard in a while.
It would be nice if we got this kinda turnaround from every other professional we have to deal with in life. In the meantime we fully expect Kadesh to have a song up for Doom 4 two days after it’s released. Until then, download the song on his bandcamp page here.

Logan Huffman wants to know who is posting comments about him online and asks Jace for help. Meanwhile Joe Flanigan is caught again flirting in the V costume. Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.
Jace has decided to take advantage of his co-hosting duties at the Sony Online Entertainment Fan Faire celebration, by showing his new music video to the thousands of EverQuest players in attendance, much to the dismay of the crowd. That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
