There were whispers that it actually existed, and people have been begging for a chance to take a look at it…
Today it has officially been unveiled – the Ultimate Arcade Machine, standing at over 7 feet tall and playing every video game that is known to man, is no longer a secret.
Also no more is Producer Todd Roy’s chance to get a raise…
We can’t tell you how much the machine cost to make, but we can tell you it was worth every penny, considering no machine like this exists on the face of the planet.
How does it exist/operate you say? According to Arcades R Fun, the company that built the cabinet and implemented the unique software user interface, Hyperspin:
HyperSpin is an animated arcade frontend for Windows for use on Home Arcade Machines. HyperSpin allows you to create custom menu systems to run most executables with that arcade look and feel. HyperSpin takes a more artwork oriented approach to creating menu’s. With this tool you should be able to make interesting menu’s for your games, movies etc. Simply put, HyperSpin is likely the best looking emulation front-end ever devised, and makes emulation setup easier.
The Arcade cabinet took over a year to construct, and a week to transport across the country. It includes a 55 inch 3D LED adjustable TV, Q*bert joystick, a slew of guns you can modify to play with games ranging from The Terminator to Duck Hunt, and a ton of other features you have to watch the episode to appreciate.
You can check out the machine in action on the latest episode of The Jace Hall Show, and stay tuned to JaceHallShow.com for more updates and wild gaming endeavors as Season 5 moves forward.

Jace heads to the set of Law and Order: SVU to catch up with Ice – T and Coco and the Starcraft II team gets “rushed” by World of Warcraft Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan.
Jace has decided to take advantage of his co-hosting duties at the Sony Online Entertainment Fan Faire celebration, by showing his new music video to the thousands of EverQuest players in attendance, much to the dismay of the crowd. That didn’t stop one enthusiastic guest from doing something radical.
