It appears MegaUpload’s users aren’t ready to just back down to the feds with new reports claiming international pirate organizations are planning on suing the FBI on behalf of users over files that have been lost due to the shutdown.

If you’ve been following along with the MegaUpload case, you’d know that many of the company’s execs are now awaiting trial on charges of piracy, racketeering, and money laundering following the feds shutting down the massively popular file-sharing site Keep Reading

source codeWith the federal government shutting down file-sharing website MegaUpload, and Anonymous taking down the Department of Justice website in response, some have passed over claims that Federal Reserve Bank source code used for managing the US government’s finances has been stolen this week.

According to a report from VentureBeat who points us to an official FBI statement, a computer programmer named Bo Zhang, 32, has admitted to copying the code to a hard drive from within the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Wednesday. Keep Reading

wow characterAccording to an official document released by the company on Friday, Blizzard Entertainment has been working with the government to rat out any shady activity amongst its users. Say wha?? Define ‘shady’…

That may be part of the problem. While the document (made official in 2009, and leaked this past week) never details exactly what sort of crimes could be going on amongst WoW players, the company has stated that it gets more requests from law enforcement officials for that game than any other.
