Felicia Day returns for Episode 2 of The Jace Hall Show, trading barbs with Jace over Twitter, Mathematics, and Todd’s constant e-mailing (will Baby Jesus make an appearance and finally settle on a new home?).

I Play Wow is to this day one of the most popular videos on YouTube, surpassing over 12 million hits. This week’s episode features a new I Play Wow in full Machinima, and offers fans the chance to download the track for free via Jace’s soundcloud.

Milli Vanilli and John Davis are reunited for their first interview ever Continue reading “WEEKLY EPISODE: Felicia Day, I Play WoW Make Epic Return to Jace Hall Show” »

Twitter is a lot like a beauty pageant, but instead of being judged for your looks, your ability to create a stir and gain attention for yourself is what defines the proverbial canon and what eventually wins you the tiara (otherwise known as a retweet).

I suppose it’s no surprise then that twitter feuds, controversial trends, and other tactics that most fifth graders would find pointless and/or immature are rather frequent. Case in point: the most recent incident invoving Ryan Perez, a video game blogger that nobody knew about accusing Felicia Day, one of the internet’s most popular and most liked personalities, as adding practically nothing to the gaming industry.

Perez ostensibly called into question the significance of Felicia Day as a celebrity in the gaming/geek world. Despite having thousands if not millions of other candidates to choose from, Perez not so coincidentally chose a women with millions of followers, who had friends with millions of other followers. Felicia Day Goes Country In Newest Music Video

Think country music and the first thing that pops into your head is probably cowboy hats and/or run down pick up trucks that look like they survived armageddon. But Felicia Day puts a new spin on country in her latest music video via her Geek and Sundry YouTube channel. No Baby Jesus isn’t involved, but she is cosplaying as Lara Croft, which in the canon of all things geek, is as close as it gets to holier than thou.

Directed by The Guild’s very own Sean Becker, Gamer Girl, Country Boy features Felicia & Jason Charles Miller, the latter of which might sound familiar as he was a featured voice in D3 and WoW. Continue reading “Felicia Day Goes Country In Newest Music Video” »

Yes, we have something of a checkered past here with Felicia Day — namely, one Baby Jesus, but this latest endeavor from Felicia and the rest of her friends at the Guild receives two very enthusaistic thumbs up from The Jace Hall Show.

It’s no secret that we’re big fans of music videos focusing on living the G4M3RL143 and all around being proud of who you are, no matter what people say about you. Given the recent turmoil in the news over a bully film that used the f bomb, the issue of bullying has still yet to really become a mainstream effort or been dealt with as swiftly as it should. For those of you who caught the most recent episode of The Guild, you may have noticed a familiar face trying to track down Felcia Day. The Jace Hall Show producer/director Todd Roy showed off his pecs and his deft flash-lighting skills in the role of the Security guard, whose primary task was giving Felicia Day a hard time (good thing Todd is a method actor).

According to whispers heard through the grapevine, and in our conversation with The Guild director Sean Becker below, Todd’s role was supposed to have no lines, but Todd’s acting skills were too much to overlook and made it all but impossible to keep his oscar winning moments off the cutting room floor. There isn’t a whole lot in common between Silk Road Online and Duke NUKEM Forever, but in this case there is. This week’s free video game recipient was Kernius Ramanauskas, whose Silkroad Online YouTube videos, inspired by episode 18 of the Jace Hall Show, earned him a free copy of Duke Nukem Forever, now set to be released in June. Kernius hails from France and has asked for a pre-order of Duke Nukem Forever…which answers two questions we’ve been getting a lot in regards to the free video game award 1) Yes we’ll do a pre-order and 2) the video game award is for anyone in the entire world. In the latest (dare we say greatest?) episode of the Jace Hall Show, Jace takes on the task of challenging Studio Creative Director Chris Gao to a “friendly game” of DC Universe Online. The outcome wasn’t so good–well for Jace, at least. It’s no secret that Jace is used to schooling noobs, but how has he fared in some of his past video game battles against “stiffer competition?” Let’s take a look at some of Jace Hall’s Top Video Game Battles.

YAY – two things I like coming together:  Playing WOW and The Jace Hall Show

Behind every successful star stands a savvy, creative, inspired producer. In the case of TV and video game producer Jace Hall (The Jace Hall Show), that producer is Todd Roy. Todd pretty much epitomizes today’s casual yet completely gung-ho WoW player — only he does it from a perspective that includes rubbing elbows with some of the most well known figures in gaming and geekdom today. We talked to Todd about finding time for WoW while working a Hollywood-paced schedule, cracking up over Stan Lee’s infectious laugh and whether or not Olivia Munn really is that hot in person … All after the break.

The amazing Lisa Poisso wrote up a nice little article about my World of Warcraft habits and what I do  for and my experience with The Jace Hall Show.  Hope you give it a read and find it a tiny bit funny!  Thanks Todd
