When we last checked in on the MegaUpload case, innocent users were considering a lawsuit against the FBI to try and get their files back after the popular file sharing site was shutdown earlier this month. It looks like they won’t be successful as new reports claim the “US Attorney” will allow user data to be destroyed by Thursday of this week.

It appears MegaUpload’s users aren’t ready to just back down to the feds with new reports claiming international pirate organizations are planning on suing the FBI on behalf of users over files that have been lost due to the shutdown.
