Mega Man fans were shocked earlier this year when Capcom said that it would not be releasing a new game to celebrate the beloved franchise’s 25th anniversary.

The last few entires have been less than stellar and have left fans both disappointed and worried about the future of the blue bomber. So much so in fact that many felt that Capcom’s choice to not bring a new title for the anniversary meant that Mega Man would be no more.

Fortunately, in a new interview Capcom has said that it intends on bringing more Mega Man content in the future. Talking to Nintendo Power, Capcom USA said that the company plans to bring new Mega Man experiences soon for both the mobile handheld market and consoles.

What’s the only thing that’s more unforgettable than our favorite video games? The songs that played in them.

I found this out the hard way when my parents used to send me to my room…I had the rocks to play video games, anyway, but wasn’t going to blow my cover and play them with the sound on (it just wasn’t the same…)

Video games without their title tracks is like cereal without milk…a television without a remote…a fancy car with no radio (I’ll stop now). Music sets the tone for the gameplay, drives us right into the action, and as the list below points out, it’s ultimately one of the main things we remember about our particular video game experiences.
