  Comedy troupe The Warp Zone’s latest manages to include a stunning opener consisting of laser blasts and people getting blown to little bloody pulpy bits, also manages to be a particularly awesome through its actual music.

When you think Halo, unless there’s a disconnect, chances are you don’t also think ‘boy bands’ and ‘the beach’ — at least, not all at the same time. Yep, two of those clearly don’t belong, but this didn’t stop comedy/parody group WarpZone from marrying all 3 to give us the hideously deranged mutant offspring of N’Sync, Master Chief, and Baywatch.

WarpZone’s parody of the One Direction song “What Makes Your Beautiful” manages to both praise the game that unites them, as well as proclaim love for all things late-90s boy band (which we can thank New Direction for I guess) — and it’s all this that makes it seem all the more psychotic. Microsoft had its big E3 press conference today and now much of the footage they showed is starting to hit the internet, including this new gameplay video from the highly anticipated Halo 4.

Before Microsoft’s Call of Duty Black Ops 2 announcements, it opened its E3 press conference in Los Angeles today with a brand new live gameplay demo of Halo 4 to get the show going. Below is the aforementioned video which showcases gameplay from the brand new, 343 developed Halo 4.

Fans Piece Together Halo 4′s Cover Art, Microsoft Confirms

We finally get a look at the Halo 4 box cover art thanks to 32 lucky fans who pieced it together. The fans assembled the 32 fragments of the new Halo 4 image after each received a piece via email from 343 Industries and Microsoft later confirmed to Gameinformer that the image is indeed the official box art for the highly anticipated game.a It took the Xbox Live recipients of the 32 puzzle pieces only about an hour to assemble the image. After meeting in the forums, the fans put together the image, which reveals Master Chief in all his glory as well as possibly some other details about the upcoming game. After last week’s reveal of the Halo 4 release date and a bit more on the game from Conan, today we catch a glimpse at some brand new art from the highly anticipated shooter.

Officially announced from Microsoft today, Halo 4 will launch on November 6 later this year. We already knew from rumours that the release date of the newest iteration in the Halo franchise would be announced around this time and now things are official.

The launch date was revealed today via a tweet from Rob Semsey who works in PR for Xbox. “It’s official – Master Chief returns in Halo 4 on November 6, 2012.”
