The folks over at Penny Arcade have decided they don’t want ads on their site anymore, so they have posted a Kickstarter campaign to raise money in order to remove them.
The campaign, named “Penny Arcade Sells Out”, seeks to raise $250,000 to remove only some of the ads on the site, specifically the leaderboard. Apparently it will take $525,000 to have the Penny Arcade guys completely remove the ads from the home page. To remove all the ads on the site, they will need to raise $999,999.
