EA Dropping Online Support For Several Games As COD DLC Hits XBL

Bringing the total up to 125 games that have had their online support shutdown, Electronic Arts is shutting down servers for 14 games, some of which are less than two years old.
EA released a statement announcing the “service updates” (via Ars Technica) that included a list of games that will officially be shut down, some on March 31st and others April 13th. Ars points out one of the games, EA Sports MMA, was an Online Pass title that charged preowned users for access.
Fortunately, you’re probably going to be too preoccupied with the largest DLC pack in history for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 hitting Xbox Live today to even notice. Today’s releases include Spec Ops missions and a new MP map for Elite members, and also the full collection of previous DLC with two Spec Ops missions and four MP maps in the full pack. Jace Hall Show fans know Cung Le from his epic adventures striking down ninjas and occasionally Todd Roy. To fans of the MMA world, he’s known for his spinning back-kick and to those in the TV and movie world, he’s known for his appearances on NCIS, Walker Texas Ranger, Pandorum, Tekken, and Fighting.
It has all earned him a spot on Maxim’s list of 8 Great Fighters Who Became Kickass Actors.
