When we first heard that Mike Nelson and some of the leftover guys from MST3K were going to be heckling video games, it seemed too good to true. And despite a teaser video being released of them yelling at Gears of War 3, much time has passed and we haven’t heard much in that department.

Ever imagine the epic movie insult crew Mystery Science Theater 3000 making the move into the world of video games? On the surface it makes sense, given that video games are arguably just as if not more popular than a lot of movies anyways, and some can be just as bad.
The Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew, is taking the show to the IGN YouTube page, bringing the “droll talents” of making fun of movies to Gears of War 3.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 was basically a low-budget ode to Sci_Fi B- movies which consisted of little other than a bunch of guys (and robots) in a movie theater shouting rude things at the screen – most of which were pretty f*cking hilarious.
As with all great things, there was dissent in the ranks, and some of the creative minds behind MST3K disbanded and went off to form their own separate organizations.
